The system continually monitors the parameters of the battery, analyzes and assesses the measurements, and transfers the data findings to the web server via Wi-fi. In case there is no Wi-fi connectivity, it stores the data received in its memory and sends the data collected when it accesses the network.

Battery Total Voltage, Midpoint Voltage, Electrolyte Level, Battery Temperature, and Battery Current are all measured by the system. These metrics are monitored in all charging, discharging, and idle states of the battery.

The system is easy and quick to install and does not require any software installation. The system has been featured with monitoring capacity for a wide voltage range i.e., the system can provide effective monitoring of the traction batteries within the set-up voltage range from 12v to 96v.  

Midpoint voltage monitoring is crucial to maintain the battery’s efficiency and avoid damage to the battery bank as even one bad cell can destroy a large, expensive battery bank. Thus, the system provides the monitoring of such parameters resulting in the inefficiency of the batteries and further helps lower the operating costs.

As the system is wireless connection-based, the data produced and collected can be retrieved without any physical intervention. In such a case where there is unexpected disruption of wifi disconnection, the system has its own separate memory to store and transfer the data as soon as it accesses the network. So it has the features of permanent registration memory.

The system is designed to provide prompt warning/ alarm notification through electronic mail. Further, it has an inbuilt status notification on the device for further assistance. The system has an option of ambient temperature reading and also supports mobile 3G and GPRS.
